Dr. Jan K. Argasinski
Jan K. Argasiński, PhD, works at the Department of Games Technology; Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland). His research concerns affective computing, game design and Development, augmented and virtual reality. Recently head of the R&D projects at Simpro.
Media theorist and philosopher. Cyberpunk. Occasionally demoscener. Works at the Department of Games Technology of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science, Jagiellonian University. In his day job he works on the processing of emotions in computer systems (affective computing) and on virtual and augmented reality projects.
At Jagiellonian he conducts classes related to the design and creation of games. He’s member of the creative programming team of UBU lab and reasercher at AfCAI (Affective Computing Context Awareness and Ambient Intelligence) group. Recently head of the R&D projects at Simpro.
