About The Speakers

Hossein Jalali

Hossein is currently the CTO of Virtuleap and a board member of Edoramedia. He has earned a BS degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA from AUS. During his role as Head of Online at Al Aan TV, he had restructured the digital outlook of the company, He pioneered Al Aan TV as one of the first companies to use social media services for its growth, Making it one of the most successful online media platforms in the Arab world. Hossein has used the client-side experience to form Edoramedia; A digital transformation company he founded in 2012 to assure clients receive the same level of dedication and nurturing he had always expected. The company has since expanded offices in Dubai, Tehran, and Portugal. Currently, Hossein is the co-founder and CTO of Virtuleap, the startup that is gamifying cognitive science with VR and AI. The "Enhance" VR app offers embodied brain training that helps people become their best.

Antonio Giacomin

Antonio Giacomin aka. fluido was born in 1974 in Trieste, where he lives and works. As a creative technologist and video designer started to experiment with immersive media in 2015 working on various XR projects with his company fluido.it. In 2016 became the curator for the VR section at the Trieste Film Festival and started to collaborate with Casa del Cinema in Trieste organizing events like workshops and panel on XR culture. Since 2018 is guest curator for VR content at FeKK in Ljubljana (Slovenia). In 2017 he was the creative producer and creative technologist for the project “In the Cave”, created during the Biennale College VR program and presented at the 75th Venice Film Festival in Venice VR category. In 2017 he started to curate the blog 360.fluido.tv and the only Italian podcast on XR culture “Linea di stitching” where he talks about his experience in the XR industry.
